Preparing For Your Mix Session
-
You should be happy with all the elements of your track. Ensure that you have completed all editing, tuning and timing touch-ups. While a small amount of editing is ok, significant levels of touch-ups can significantly blow-out the project timeline.
-
If you believe an effect is integral to an element of your production, print both a wet and dry version of the stem.
-
We only accept WAV files at sampling rates of 44.1, 48, 88.2 and 96 kHz and at bit rates of 16bit or 24bit
-
Make sure that anyone will know what instrument/sound your stem is just from the name.
-
Make sure that all your stems have printed correctly. It’s always good to double-check them in a new session of your DAW to ensure you haven’t exported blank tracks or have encountered any other issues while exporting.
Feel free to get in touch if you have any questions regarding mixing or would like to know if your production is ready for a mix down.
